Photography and aviation are my two biggest passions. What better then than to combine the two!

My artistic style consists of combining colour, black and white, or my own sepia blend in a single image. I don't do montage work, instead preferring to use a single image and dictate where the colour or tinted areas appear in my images.

Most of my photographic art has colour in the centre or highlighting the main subject, and then either fading to the edges or expressing dark, moody backgrounds. A lot of my work has a hand tinted, retro look about it - and it is this style that I love developing.

Photo Restoration & Retouching

I believe that Photo Restoration is particularly important as photographs are often our most direct link with the past because they are a visual record of our history, whether it is our personal family history or our cultural history.

Using the latest techniques, I am able to carefully restore your old photographs to their previous beauty. In fact, most damaged photographs can be restored by applying digital photo restoration, helping to keep your memories alive and secure.

The most common restoration work I perform includes:

• Repairing of damaged areas, scratches, and tears
• Restoring faded colours
• Reconstruction of missing pieces
• Removal of unwanted objects or backgrounds from the image.

Photo Retouching involves enhancing, altering or adding glamour to both old and new photographs.

The retouching work I most often perform includes:

• Removing blemishes from portraits, smoothing skin tone and touching up wrinkles
• Removing distracting objects (or people) from the background
• Red eye removal
• Whitening and repair of damaged or missing teeth

As a photographic artist using my years of experience in post production imagery, I am able to provide you with a very high degree of quality in photo restoration and photo retouching.

I currently charge a flat rate of $49.95 per image for my restoration and retouching services, and payment is only required once you have received a proof and are happy with the result. It’s that simple.
